Battle of the Books Information Session
The Mid-Hudson Library System Battle of the Books program wants YOU!
The Battle of the Books program is always looking for member libraries to participate in the program, which has provided young readers with a fun and entertaining way of experiencing literature through a trivia competition for more than 10 years.
The Battle of the Books Planning Committee is hosting an information session on Friday, January 29, from 1-3pm, in the MHLS Auditorium. This information session is open to member library directors and staff who are interested in learning more about the Battle of the Books program and what is involved in participating.

The 11th Annual Battle of the Books Competition will take place on Saturday, September 12 at the George Fischer Middle School, 281 Fair Street, Carmel, NY 10512.
Come support your local library’s team or just see what it is all about.
Opening remarks are at 9:30 a.m., the first battle begins at 10:00 a.m.

2015 Sub-committee Sign-up
It is time to sign up for sub-committees! We need 12 people to write questions, 8 book editors and 3 to 4 people to volunteer for the following sub-committees: Publicity and promotion, Facility, Question editing and Volunteer organization.
Make sure to sign up before Friday, March 6.
