Battle of the Books Information Session

The Mid-Hudson Library System Battle of the Books program wants YOU!

The Battle of the Books program is always looking for member libraries to participate in the program, which has provided young readers with a fun and entertaining way of experiencing literature through a trivia competition for more than 10 years.

The Battle of the Books Planning Committee is hosting an information session on Friday, January 29, from 1-3pm, in the MHLS Auditorium. This information session is open to member library directors and staff who are interested in learning more about the Battle of the Books program and what is involved in participating.

If you have a topic or an idea you would like the Battle of the Books Task Force to explore please send a message to the group.

This task force was formed to ensure the success of the Battle of the Books by means of gathering information and making recommendations that would enhance the current program as well as aid the development of a sustainable structure. Topics include but are not limited to: recruitment, sustainable funding, cost saving / budgeting, fundraising, marketing and collaboration. – 2015
